The ASA Annual Member Meeting is an opportunity to share knowledge and connect on the ASA mission to enhance workforce development & safety for Alaska’s industries. Members and guests will receive important updates on ASA’s accomplishments and vision for the future at this event. ASA Members will also cast their vote to elect Directors to serve on the ASA Board.
The Alaska Safety Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization led by a volunteer Board of Directors. The board provides guidance and oversight of the organization to benefit all ASA members.

Serving on the ASA Board is a unique opportunity to help build a safe and trained workforce for Alaska! As the highest leadership body of the organization, the Board is responsible for strategy and organizational oversight.

Elections
The ASA Elections Committee is now seeking nominations for the Board of Directors!
The nominations period is open now through Tuesday, September 24th. Nominations can be submitted via email to info@alaskasafetyalliance.org.
Eligibility: Persons (i) 18 years of age or older; (ii) who are members in good standing, employed by a member organization in good standing, or a retiree who previously served on the Board and has an established history of service to ASA; and (iii) who by their past actions and accomplishments has demonstrated a dedication to the purposes and goals of ASA as well as the ability to carry out and achieve those purposes and goals.

ASA Members will vote for the Board of Directors at the ASA 25th Anniversary Celebration & Annual Meeting on October 25, 2024. Questions can be directed to Cari-Ann Carty, Executive Director or Heather Spear, Board Secretary and Nominations Chair.
